STALLION - R -1234YF

Stallion R-1234YF (2,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene) is a next-generation hydrofluoro-olefin (HFO) refrigerant designed as an eco-friendly replacement for R-134a in automotive and HVAC systems. With a very low Global Warming Potential (GWP) of about 4, it significantly reduces environmental impact compared to older refrigerants. It has zero ozone depletion potential (ODP = 0), making it compliant with modern regulatory standards.  Classified as ASHRAE A2L, it’s mildly flammable and requires careful handling.  Its boiling point is about –29.5 °C, delivering cooling performance similar to R-134a. Stallion R-1234YF is compatible with modern synthetic polyolester (POE) lubricants, ensuring optimal system stability and longevity. Widely used in automotive air conditioning and emerging HVAC applications, it balances energy efficiency with sustainable operation.
